NPU Boost and Q-Release DIY Design
NPU Boost overclocks the integrated NPU of Core Ultra Series 2 processors with a single BIOS setting for AI workloads, while PCIe Slot Q-Release and M.2 Q-Latch remove the fiddly clips that usually slow down graphics card and SSD swaps.
- Install an Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processor in the LGA1851 socket.
- Fit four DDR5 modules for dual-channel memory up to 256GB.
- Use the PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for a graphics card and spread NVMe drives across the three M.2 slots.
- Connect over WiFi 7 or 2.5Gb Ethernet, and enable NPU Boost in the BIOS for AI workloads.
